Fairways is delighted to be working exclusively with our Dundee based client who operate within the medical profession.  We are seeking a professional Bookkeeper for one or two days each month.

You will be required to carry out all bookkeeping tasks including :-

  • Payment for monthly salaries (payroll is outsourced)
  • Payment processing including PAYE/Pensions/NI
  • Setting up and maintaining SO and DD payments
  • Preparing month end reconciliations
  • Processing bank and cash payments
  • Managing both purchase and sales ledgers
  • Managing petty cash
  • Providing financial information, as required, including monthly and quarterly reporting

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

  • experience within a similar finance role
  • a working knowledge of IRIS accounting software
  • a working knowledge of MS Office Excel
  • excellent communication skills and a personable nature

You should be an analytical individual who pays strong attention to detail and guarantees total confidentiality of financial information, ideally with knowledge of the medical sector.


Business Terms and Location

  • You will be self-employed and provide the company with a monthly invoice
  • The role is 1 or 2 days per month
  • Rate based on experience and available skills
  • You will work from their Dundee office (close to the city centre)
