Fairways has an immediate opportunity for a Swimming Pool, Plant Room Technician / Handyman to join our prestigious client, on the outskirts of Perth. This is a part time, permanent role which offers a competitive salary and the chance to work with a supportive and friendly team.


Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm however additional hours may be required at busy periods.  The Swimming Pool Technician / Handyman will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the swimming pool system and water systems in accordance with current regulations. You will be working as part of the maintenance team where your duties will include:
  • Servicing and maintaining the swimming pool and water systems in accordance with the current regulations
  • Undertake training to ensure the provision of water to the site is available at all times and to assist with any mains water leaks
  • Undertake routine maintenance to systems and appliances to the required standards
  • Assist in providing estimates for additional works
  • Meet and exceed contract specific KPI’s and ensure contract compliance at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant health and safety requirements
  • Deliver the highest possible level of customer care
  • Prioritising work within a range of complex work areas
  • Demonstrating an understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance, ideally gained through a third party provider
  • Ensuring your skills and knowledge are up to date at all times taking into account new technology, legislation etc
  • Carry out handyman repairs internally and externally throughout the site and campus
  • ​Ensure good housekeeping of both work area and stock


You will be a proactive and conscientious team member with the ability to work effectively and complete tasks in order of importance and within set timescales. You will have a good work ethic and willing to continually learn and develop in the role. Previous experience from a similar position would be an advantage.

 

Due to the nature of the work a driving licence is required.
